  • In most cases, we find our clients enjoy the freedom of arranging their own flights. However, we do offer complimentary guidance on flight selection or flight review to spot check travel times, layover durations and locations.

  • We offer personalized service catered to your travel wants and needs, in addition to industry expertise. Furthermore, we often have access to deals and promotions not available to the general public. We provide a carefully detailed plan to get you on your way, and we guide you through each step of the process, making sure you avoid mistakes that could cost you valuable time and money.

  • By charging a planning fee, we can dedicate the necessary time and attention to detail to curate a personalized itinerary tailored to your preferences. Our goal is to save you time, provide you with peace of mind, and ensure a seamless trip from start to finish. Our planning fees are calculated based on the complexity of the trip. This includes the number of legs, number of travelers, number of nights, and vicinity of time to departure. We believe in transparency, so our planning fees are listed on our Services page. We will always discuss the planning fees and any questions you may have in our initial discovery call so there’s no surprises.

  • Long story short on third-party booking platforms like Expedia and Booking.com; you get what you pay for. Sometimes these platforms are cheaper. However, you are not getting any upgrades or perks, & you are the lowest priority in the eyes of the hotel. Plus, there’s NO ONE to advocate for you if something goes wrong. Typically, if a hotel is overbooked, any rooms that were booked on third-party sites are the first to get bumped. You will also want to read the fine print carefully as cancellation policies are often strict (or non-refundable).

    In contrast, Fora has great relationships with our partners and will treat you with the guest experience that you deserve! Booking with a Fora Travel Advisor gives you additional benefits, reservation support, & peace of mind...all at no additional cost to you.

    If you do find a cheaper hotel price online, please share it with me. More often than not, I can work with the hotel to match it AND still help ensure all your requests are met.

  • While Planned to Where specializes in travel to the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe, we can plan amazing travel experiences anywhere in the world by partnering with our trusted suppliers.

  • We do not work with properties that are individually managed since we are unable to stand behind the quality of individually owned properties.

    If you are looking for apartments, homes, or villas to rent, we work with fantastic partners like Plum Guide and Stay Haven to find vetted properties that meet your needs.

  • Most hotels and airlines have rates 11 months in advance. So, we do have clients that are planning about 1 year out. We recommend starting the planning process and inquiring as soon as possible, especially for complex itineraries or during peak travel seasons, or at least 3-6 months in advance for international trips to ensure availability and the best rates. However, we can accommodate shorter timelines and last-minute bookings depending on your destination and travel needs.

  • While we are not a licensed seller of travel insurance, we can recommend and arrange travel insurance to protect your investment and provide peace of mind during your travels. We work with trusted insurance providers and affiliate partners, and can help travellers select coverage that best fits their needs. 

  • A lot of the fun is researching and creating anticipation for the destination before traveling. As a travel advisor, my goal is to enhance your travel experience and provide you with expert advice, personalized recommendations, and insider knowledge that you may not find on your own. I consider this a collaborative experience. However, I do offer consultation calls at a rate of $35 for 30 minutes to pick my brain!
